This Male Voice Choir come from the town of Treorchy (Treorci in Welsh) in the larger of the two Rhondda valleys in south Wales. For many years they have been the most famous of Welsh Male Voice Choirs. The communal singing of the Male Voice Choir reflects the communal values of what are still close knit communities with a heritage based on coal mining and socialist solidarity.
