Cell-29 Lyrics

He's planning a robbery
Lack of common sense
Bad vibes and a story
That stands for accidentsAnd now he's gonna get lucky
This time he'll play it smart
By the time lucky gets lucky
When he steps out of the getaway carYeah, now he's gonna get lucky
This time he'll play it smart
By the time lucky gets lucky
When he steps out of the getaway carFeeling fine rhymes on cell 29
Feeling lonely in cell 29
I can remember your face
And I pace and I pace in C29
Callin' further needs, max securityFeeling fine rhymes on cell 29
Feeling lonely in cell 29
I can remember your face
And I pace and I pace in C29
Call it villainy, max securityWhile I eat that food, sleep that sleep

Miss that kiss, feel real cheap
Swallow the pills, forget all the thrills
No more bills, it's a crime, cell 29Feeling fine rhymes on cell 29
Can't wait to fly out of cell 29
Miss the space and the trays
Of wine in cell 29
Call it villainy, max securityFeeling fine rhymes on cell 29
Feeling fine rhymes on cell 29

Golden Earring is the best known and internationally most succesful rock band to come out of the Netherlands. Formed in 1961, Golden Earring has been active for more than 50 years non-stop, which makes Golden Earring the world's longest surviving rock band, formed a year before The Rolling Stones. The current line-up has been unchanged since 1970. In 1961 George Kooymans (age 13) and his neighbour Rinus Gerritsen (age 15) formed The Tornados in the Zuiderpark district of their home town of The Hague, The Netherlands.
