Change Lyrics

You woke me up at 3:00 a.m.
To tell me about the fire
You said that she was more than a friend
You were consumed by your desireAnd so it goes this too shall pass away, it cuts so strange
The only thing that stays the same is changeYour love was here but now it's gone
And your eyes no longer want me
And now I can't hold back the dawn
And the truth that seems to haunt meAnd so it goes this too shall pass away It cuts so strange
The only thing that stays the same Is change
The only thing that stays the same is changeI'm not so sure where I have been
I don't know just where I'm going
Hard as I hold it in my hand
I can stop the wind from blowingAnd so it goes this too shall pass away, it cuts so strange
Won't you roll me? Won't you roll roll roll roll
Roll me away it cuts so strange
The only thing that stays the same is changeThe only thing that stays the same is change
The only thing that stays the same is change
The only thing that stays the same is change

The only thing that stays the same is change
