Chasing Lights Lyrics

Turning away for the last time.
Stay away for the last time.
So you say it's the last time. You know that we've been writing our names in with the stars so long.
And I've wasted my breath on such little things.
When I think of what could be.Common sense awakens slowly the water.
And the water is rising.
Love alone will find a way but we lost it, and we lost it.
Now I've given up, wouldn't you?
We gave it time, but you took over,
You'd say we wasted our time. I gave you mine. You left me nothing.
You left me nothing. It's the last time...Since you left, home seems further away than when you were here.
And you see it now, what could be but you chose to forget it
So forget it.Common sense awakens slowly the water,
And the water is rising.
Time alone will find a way but we lost it, and we lost it.
Now I've given up, wouldn't you?
We gave it time, but you took over,
You'd say we wasted our time. I gave you mine. You left me nothing.

You left me nothing.Time has wasted, love has faded.
I'd like to say I'm well these days.
And time alone is well enough.
But I can't forget when I miss this much.Now I've given up, wouldn't you?
We gave it time, but you took over,
You'd say we wasted our time. I gave you mine. You left me nothing.
You left me nothing.
