Chasing Sirens Lyrics

Mmm aahIf you need to
Change your style sometimes
Yes, sometimes
To please and satisfy
They'll call you a hypocrite
You're giving
Birth to all new trends
Visions they'll never comprehend
Because they're all so selfishEveryone look at me
Chasing sirens
Demanding their attention
So selfish
Everyone look at me
Chasing sirens
Trying to discover what's wrong with my mindSo they started to upheaval
(Started to upheaval)
But you prompted the war
You're still a hypocrite

Snapping the sleepers into motion
So their systems will change
Right now you're giving up but let me show youEveryone look at me
Chasing sirens
Demanding their attention
So selfish
Everyone look at me
I'm chasing sirens
Trying to discover what's wrong with my mindYou like to be the center of attention
Don't you?
Under the spell of another phase
(You're so pretentious)
You're so pretentious
Plastic uninvited
Don't you find it strange?
How they wear their egos on their sleeves?
(On their sleeves)
Until they see your face
(Until they see your face)
Don't you find it strange?
Strange
How they wear their egos on their sleeves?
(On their sleeves)
Until they see your faceEveryone look at me
I'm chasing sirens
Trying to discover what's wrong with my mind
Everyone look at me
I'm chasing sirens
Trying to discover what's wrong with my mindSo selfish
This day should last forever
Stuck on the merry go round
Keep spinning, never want to come down
So selfish
This day should last forever
So selfish
So selfish

The members of Orgy -- Jay Gordon (vocals), Amir Derakh (guitar-synths), Ryan Shuck (guitar), Paige Haley (bass), and Bobby Hewitt (drums) -- have described their music as "Death Pop" in the past, but few agree on what to call their blend of rock, metal and electronica. The band was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1997 and signed to Korn's Elementree record label soon after. They quickly released their first album, "Candyass." Soon after, they performed the duty of opening act on the Family Values tour in '98, where they were introduced to many for the first time.
