Chehra - Tribute to VS - Abbas Ali Khan

Abbas Ali Khan is the student of Indian Classical Music and is the Shagird (Spiritual Son/apprentice/Disciple) of Bare Ustad Fateh Ali Khan of the famous Patiala Gharana.

As music producer Abbas has great knowledge of a variety of music genres that he incorporates in his production projects like background scores for commercials, documentaries and programs titles etc.

The album ‘Sun Re’ is musically based on different genres that Abbas Ali Khan has been inspired by while growing up. His versatility as a producer and his control over genres such as Classical Fusion, Orchestral, Hip-hop, to Soft rock etc. can be heard in “Sun Re” (The Album).

“I’m recording my next album nowadays, exploring a new and different sound that will definitely be a breath of fresh air for my fans.

The journey has begun. I look forward to the twists and turns it will take. There will be deserts to cross, jungles to survive, rivers to swim through and God only knows what else.
