Chewing Gum Lyrics

I don't like stakes or fancy cake
I'm full of ice cream food
I have just one effection
I really love to chew
Lollipop or chocolate drop
Have no effect on me
But when I have some chewin' gum
I'm as happy as can beMy mama gave me a penny
To buy some candy
I didn't want the candy
So I bought some chewin' gum
(Oh, yum, yum, yum)
I love my gumMy mama gave me a nickle
To buy a pickle
I didn't want a pickle
So I bought some chewin' gum
(Oh, yum, yum, yum)
I bought some gumEach time I find myself with a guy

I hurry to the store
Cause' the boy who sells me chewin' gum
Is the one that I adoreMy mama gave me a quater
For solter water
I know I had an order
But I bought some chewin' gum......Each time I find myself with a guy
I hurry to the store
Cause' the boy who sells me chewin' gum
Is the one that I adoreMy mama gave me a quater
For solter water
I know I had an order
But I bought some chewin' gum

W. Bush. Gifted with a three-octave vocal range, she was noted for her purity of tone, near faultless phrasing and intonation, and a "horn-like" improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing.
