Chi Fire - The Response

The Response was formed in the summer of 2000 by roomates Peter P.(Spankchild) and Richard Bowman in milwaukee, WI. Their summer collaboration resulted in four songs and in September they approached their friend Mikey B. (Men From Mars / The Blasphematics) to fill in on the low end. Jesus (Next in Line) dusted off his drumsticks and by October the line-up was complete. The band began playing shows in December and within the year had garnered attention and praise opening for the likes of The Faint, Har Mar Superstar, The Figgs, The Gadjits, Openhand and The Starlight Mints.
