Circle of Remembrance Lyrics

Bottom of the ocean is where we met
I can almost smell the smells
In this circle of remembrance
The sea has opened wideHold true, hold true to the legend sent
Sent forward for ourselves
Hold true, hold true to remembrance
The sea has opened wideBottom of the ocean is where we met
Bottom of the ocean I breathe, remembranceDon't wait too long, we, we
We belong, we belong in love right now, remembranceSwimming on a dolphin's back
Laughin' to breathe for myself
In this circle of remembrance
The sea has opened wideHold true, hold true to the legend sent
Sent forward for ourselves
Hold true hold true to remembrance
The sea has opened wideBottom of the ocean is where we met
Bottom of the ocean I breathe, remembranceDon't wait too long, we, we
We belong, we belong in love right nowDown to you, my lady floats down
And we all get a little wiser

Down to you my lady floats down
And we all get a little wiserDown to you, my lady floats down
Floatin' down, down on your crown
Down to you, my lady floats down
Floatin' down, down on our crown of remembrance
Of remembrance, of remembrance, of remembranceAnd swimming on a dolphin's back
Laughin' to breath for myself
Down to you, my lady floats down
And we all get a little wiserMy lady floats down, down on your crown
And we all get a little wiser

Rusted Root is an alternative/bluegrass/jam band which formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1990. The band consists of Michael Glabicki (vocals, guitar), Colter Harper (guitar), Dirk Miller (guitar), Patrick Norman (bass, percussion), Liz Berlin (percussion, vocals) and Jason Miller (drums, percussion). Every member of the band has proficiency in African drums, and this lends to the band's strong percussion, which draws from Middle-Eastern, African, Latin, Native American and funk influences. The band is best known for their 1995 hit single "Send Me On My Way" which has been featured in dozens of films and television shows.
