Cities Carved in Stone Lyrics

I lost my self, in those streets
A passenger of foreign tongue
The sun sets, in the same language
And rises just the sameThere was no grand design
To get to this point
No absolutes, no given truths
We were not carved in stoneShe sent the sun to heal me
She sent the moon to guide me
And when the words failed me
So she lay beside meSometimes I get to thinking of the past
When I've had more than a drink or two
Who knows where the days go
And would you ever want them back

They play a unique style of pagan metal, which can best be described as a blend of black and celtic folk metal with strong influences from their Irish roots. Their lyrics deal with cultural heritage, history and struggle. Primordial started out as a black metal band with some folk influences with their 1993 demo "Dark Romanticism" and 1995 debut album "Imrama".
