Class War 2000 Lyrics

Emancipating mistrust a western institution
now I guess it's up to us it's time for revolution
trickle-down poverty reduction of the middle class
systematic break down don't know why it happened so fastwe've got to fight back we've got to reclaim our lives
and destroy their sick power structurethey've kept us down too long with their greed and ignorance
they'll tell you that there's nothing wrong we ignore the obvious
Reaganomic backlash as we struggle to survive
we spend billions on destruction but we still can't feed ourselvesit's a new class war

Good Riddance is a punk rock band hailing from Santa Cruz, California. They formed in 1986 and after over twenty years, eight albums, and countless tours, played their farewell show in 2007 but reunited in 2012. They played fast and explosive punk and hardcore music that was heavily influenced by the early American hardcore scene. The lyrical themes varied from political protests and analysis of the American society, to personal struggles and alienation. On occasion, the band had also been known to write slower, sometimes romantic songs.
