Cold Sweat Lyrics

I got my money in a suitcase
I headed for the big race
I felt a chill on my backbone
As I hung up the telephoneStone cold sober and stone cold sweat
Running down the back of my neck, girl
Take a little money, and nothing left to lose
And I got me a heavy betCold, cold sweatThey say chances on the outside
They're looking pretty slim
I feel so lucky on the inside
I feel I'm gonna winStone cold sober and stone cold sweat
Running down the back of my neck, girl
Take a little money, and nothing left to lose
I got me a heavy betCold, cold sweatI've got a whole month's wages
I ain't seen that much in ages
I might spend it in stages
And move out to Las VegasStone cold sober and stone cold sweat
Running down the back of my neck, girl
Take a little money, and nothing left to lose

I got me a heavy betCold, cold sweatI got my money in a suitcase
They say chances on the outside
I got a whole months wages, spend it in stages
And maybe some crowd gonna move out to VegasStone cold sober and stone cold sweat
Stone cold crazy
Place another bet

Thin Lizzy are an Irish hard rock band who formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1969. The band were led throughout their recording career by bassist, songwriter and singer Phil Lynott, and are best known for their songs Whiskey in the Jar, Jailbreak and The Boys Are Back in Town, all major international hits still played regularly on hard rock and classic rock radio stations. After Lynott died, various incarnations of the band have emerged over the years culminating in a more stable line-up based around guitarists Scott Gorham and John Sykes. Sykes left the band in June 2009.
