Come Back Home Lyrics

Come back home, you're all alone
Everyone is waiting for
The words to say, to make you stay
To keep you in their armsHold still so I can feel
The words that hurt, that hit the kills
The latest fight that last some night
Turn off the lights and leave right nowI know, I know
I'm too slow to catch you here
I know that she knows
She's running far, far from meCome back home, pick up the phone
Or just call my name out loud
So I can hear, so loud and clear
Our time is running, running outI know, I know
I'm too slow to catch you here
I know that she knows
She's running far, far from meSlow down, oh no
So I can catch you now
Slow down, oh no

So we can work this outI'm growing tired
Let's start a fire
And then we'll fall asleep
You and me, oh, you and meI'm growing tired
Let's start a fire
And then we'll fall asleep
You and me, oh, you and meForget what you're not
Not what you've heard
I know where you are
I know you got burnt
I know you got burntI know, I know
I'm too slow to catch you here
I know that she knows
She's running far, far from meSlow down, oh no
So I can catch you now
Slow down, oh no
So we can work this outI know it seems like we're never coming back
I know it feels like we're never coming back
You tried our best and you know it wouldn't last
I know it feels like we're never coming backI know it seems like we're never coming back
I know it feels like we're never coming back
You tried our best and you know it wouldn't last
I know it feels like we're never coming backI know it seems like we're never coming back
I know it feels like we're never coming back
You tried our best and you know it wouldn't last
I know it feels like we're never coming back

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Playing from the start on self-booked tours across the country gave them some initial national exposure, but they weren't signed to Victory Records until late 2003. As one of the first bands to utilize social networking to gain a fan base, Hawthorne Heights developed a huge MySpace following that became a catalyst that would launch them from underground to international awareness.
