Come On Lyrics

It's an open invitation
Everybody's free to come
Try to solve the situation
The four corners have been undoneAnd it's no mystery
Just a thin line in the sand
Never fails to frighten me
When you don't understandCome on, come on, come onCome and share a smoke with me
We'll try to make a plan
It's all so tense you see
In every nation, every landAnd it's no mystery
Man-made clouds block the sun
Never fails to frighten me
These things can't be undoneCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the love
Come onNow you hold your breath and wait

To see it turns out in the end
I know it's hard to keep your patience
You know the message has been sentAnd it's no mystery
Every nation, every land
Open up your eyes and see
Before it all gets out of handCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on
Come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on, come on and see
Come on and see the love
Come on, come on and see
Come on and see the loveCome on, come on, come on and see
Come on and see the love
Come on, come on, come on and see
Come on and see the love
Come on

The Levellers are a popular English rock band influenced by punk and traditional English music. They are based in Brighton, England where they were founded in 1988. There are several stories regarding how they got their name; from the Levellers, a radically democratic faction of Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army; as a reference to "The Level", a flat open space near where members of the band used to live in Brighton; or simply, according to guitarist, Simon Friend, a word they chose from a dictionary.
