Come On (Work Tape Version) Lyrics

We both know what we were to
Not a lot of choices there.
Do your job like you were told to
I can do that anywhere!
It's old town is tired of trying
This old town is on his knees
This old town is busy dying
Your only hold on me
Come on, come on now
Come on and go with me!
Come on, come on now
Leave the devil to the deep blue sea!
40 West, straight through Memphis
We won't stop till boil and springs
We'll see what tomorrow brings!
Come on, come on now
Come on and go with me!
Come on, come on now

Leave the devil to the deep blue sea!
I'm not saying it's now or never
But it's somewhere in between
I believe there's something better
I believe in you and me!
Come on, come on now
Come on and go with me!
Come on, come on now
Leave the devil to the deep blue sea!
Come on, come on!
