Come Running to Me Lyrics

Tears at night 'cause you're scared
Little girl all afraid
Stuck between night and day
Baby fell down, lost your wayBut now we're here all alone
Look and seeOoh, sweet baby
Just come running to me
Just come running to me
Come running, running to me
Come running, running to meWithout the dark
You'd never know the night
Without the hutch
You'd never know your dreamsJust come running to me
Just come running to me
Just come running to me
Come running to meJust come running to me
Just come running to me
Just come running to me
Come running to meWithout the dark

You'd never know the night
Without the hutch
You'd never know your dreamsJust come running to me
Just come running to meJust come running to me
Just come running to me
(You don't have to be afraid)
Just come running to me
(Not anymore)Just come running to me
(I'm here with you, baby, I'm yours, I'm yours)
Just come running to meJust come running to me
(You're here with me now)
Just come running to me
(I'll be there when you need me)Just come running to me
(I'm yours, I'm yours)
Just come running to me
Just come running to me
Just come running to me

Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12, 1940) is a jazz pianist and composer from Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hancock is one of jazz music's most important and influential pianists and composers. He embraced elements of rock, funk, and soul while adopting freer stylistic elements from jazz. As part of Miles Davis' "second great quintet" Hancock helped redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section, and was later one of the first jazz musicians to embrace synthesizers and jazz funk.
