Come To Me Lyrics

All I ever wanted was a love to be true
More than just enough to get me by
I want a love to see me through, yeahI don't need another well spent night
Another clever sideways glance
I wanna look my baby in the eye
And know there's nothin' left to chanceWell, if you're tired of bein' lonely
Beat up and confused
Darlin', there is only
One thing you can doCome to me
Be the one who's waiting
Come to me
Well, I got what you needWon't you come to me
There won't be no hesitating, baby
I know what you mean to meWell, I'm gonna hold out for the one I want
Ain't gonna settle for less
'Cause the kind of love I'm lookin' for, baby
You can't fake, you can't finesseI ain't lookin' for the kind of man, baby
Who can't stand a little shaky ground

He'll give me fire and tenderness
And got the guts to stick aroundSo if you're tired of bein' lonely
Beat up and confused
Darlin', there is only
One thing you canWon't you come
Won't you come
Won't you comeI got what you want now, baby
Ooh, and [Incomprehensible] got what you needWell, if you're tired of being lonely
Beat up and confused
Darlin', there is only
One thing you can doWon't you come
Be the one who's waiting
Come to me
Ooh, now I got what you needWon't you come to me
(Come)
There won't be no hesitating, babe
Won't you come to me, yeahWell, and I got what you want now, baby
(Won't you come)
I got what you need
(Won't you come)
Just bring it on home to me
(Won't you come)Won't you come to me
Bring it on home to me
(Won't you come)
Bring your sweet love in all home
(Won't you come)

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
