Come to Stay Lyrics

If you're sad and mad but glad to be away and free
From all the pain you've known inside you feel you've grown
If you take your time with every leap of faith you'll find
It's easier to grow with every step you know, yeahCome to stay or stay away
Come to stay or stay awayIf you take too long pretending that there's nothing wrong
Don't waste my time 'cause I'll be fine
Either way you'll see that who we are and what will be
In the end it's time to show step up and let me know, yeahCome to stay or stay away
Come to stay or stay awayI hope that you can see
Nobody loves you more than me
Come to stay or stay away
Away, away, away, yeahWhile distance grows between us
Every step you take away you take a piece of meIf you say so long pretending that there's something wrong
It's all for naught 'cause I forgot
If in time you find the only leap of faith was mine
Is it easier to go or say we'll never knowCome to stay or stay away
Come to stay or stay awayI hope that you can see
Nobody loves you more than me

Come to stay or stay away
Away, away, away, yeah, yeahAway, yeah, yeah
Away, yeah, yeah
Away, yeah, yeah
Away

Oleander is a post-grunge band from Sacramento, California. Its name is derived from the poisonous wildflower oleander. Oleander was formed by Fred Nelson Jr. (drums), Doug Eldridge (bass guitar), Ric Ivanisevich (guitar) and Thomas Flowers (vocals, guitar) in the mid-90s. Their debut was Oleander, an EP released on Fine Records in 1996, which they followed with the full-length album Shrinking the Blob in 1997. The song "Down When I'm Loaded" became a regional hit, and Oleander signed with Universal Records.
