Corozon D'Oro Lyrics

Its over before it starts
Oh dont you know
Hold your marks and stand by
Ready to go
From london to new york, montreal, tokyo
I see visions of her everywhere i goWhat have i become
Now that im alone
I just looking for a way of breaking through these walls
I just looking for a place that i can call my home
Is anybody out there got a soul
I just looking for love, girl
The girl with a heart of gold
She over turns once again with her champagne taste
She goes straight down the rat hole with her
Total wrecklessness and a
Tomorrow will come on through
And i got nothing but a pain
Nothing but a silhouette girl

Met her in the darkness
I say...What have i become
Now that im all alone
I just looking for a way of breaking through these walls
I just looking for a place i can call my home
Is anybody out there got a soul
I just looking for love, girl
The girl with a heart of gold
Yeah I'm in the corner I start over
I start the whole slate clean
All the pain and heartache in all my years
I was always to blame
And I dream of this girl
Yeah an angelical ghost
I met her in my neighborhood
I'm a downtown member?
Don't let me be misunderstood
Oh, I'm a downtown member?
Don't let me be misunderstoodHeart of gold! What have i become
Now that im all alone
I just looking for a way of breaking through these walls
I just looking for a place i can call my home
Is anybody out there got a soul
I just looking for love, girl
The girl with a heart of gold

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
