Corvette Lyrics

Don't it blow your mind?
Don't it blow your mind like the first time?Circle the voices in a crowded room
Plays in my head so out of time
Kill me with kindness never enough I findDon't it blow your mind?
Don't it blow your mind again?
Don't it blow your mind for the third time? The dream is never over
The dream is never overEnvision a future still in back and white
Colors of youth run into gold
Blue is for sorrow, red is for sadder lightDon't it blow your mind?
Don't it blow your mind again?
Don't it blow your mind for the third time? The dream is never over
The dream is never over
The dream is never over
The dream is never overThere's a part of you here, part of you everywhere
Looking around all that I see
Buildings and cars, modern technologyDon't it blow your mind?
Don't it blow your mind again?
Don't it blow your mind for the third time? The dream is never over

The dream is never over
The dream is never over
The dream is never over

The Long Winters is an American indie rock band based in Seattle, USA. Singer-songwriter John Roderick was born in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Anchorage, Alaska, during his elementary school years. He later returned to Seattle and formed both Bun Family Players and the Western State Hurricanes. Following the collapse of the latter, he acted as touring keyboardist for Harvey Danger.
In 2001, Harvey Danger singer/songwriter Sean Nelson suggested that he and Roderick record an album, with half of the songs penned by John and the other half by Sean.
