Count It All Joy Lyrics

It's hard to understand sometimes
Is there a master plan
How do I make sense of everything I'm going throughBut maybe it's not ours to know
So we have to learn to let things go
And simply try to make the most
Of every day and have the faith
That somehow we will find our waySo count it all joy, all that you're going through
Even when you're feeling down
Count it all joy, each moment's a gift to you
So turn it all around
And even in the darkest night
If you look hard enough
There's a trace of sunlight waiting there
Yes waiting there for youBeen searching everywhere to find
That rainbow in the air
Whenever I came close it just seemed to disappear
I had to change my point of view
Start looking at myself

I can't believe I never knew
Everything that I need
Was right here yes inside of meSo count it all joy, all that you're going through
Even when you're feeling down
Count it all joy, each moment's a gift to you
So turn it all around
And even in the darkest night
If you look hard enough
There's a trace of sunlight waiting there
Yes waiting there for youI don't have to be afraid
From today I have the faith
That somehow I will find my wayCount it all joy, all that I'm going through
Even when I'm feeling down
Count it all joy, this moment's a gift to you
So turn it all around
And even in the darkest night
If I look straight ahead
There's a trace of sunlight waiting there
Yes waiting there for me and you

Detroit-born brother and sister BeBe (Benjamin) and CeCe (Priscilla) Winans are part of the gospel-singing Winans family that also includes the Winans, their four brothers. As a duo, BeBe & CeCe maintain the gospel message, although their records have the production values and style of contemporary R&B. They released their debut album, BeBe & CeCe Winans, in 1987 and scored a moderate hit (number 49) on the R&B charts with the single "I.O.U. Me" scoring on the R&B and adult contemporary charts. This earned them three Grammy nominations and one award (gospel). Their second album, Heaven, came in 1988 and found them scoring three R&B hits with the title track, "Lost Without You," and "Celebrate Life." The album reached the R&B Top Ten (number 95 in the pop chart) and went gold. 1991's platinum-selling Different Lifestyles was their biggest hit yet, topping the R&B album chart and featuring the R&B number ones "Addictive Love" and "I'll Take You There."
