Country of the Future Lyrics

And is it the carnival?
I can't hear, it's too far away
But, love, with me you always stay
No matter which street you walk uponIt's the same sun on us shining
But see how mine is cold and pining
For the heat that you bring
When you take me in your armsOh, love, come dance a simple step with me
Oh, love, let's move in time feel the 1, 2, 3
Oh, love, can you hear the ocean's heart as mine?
How it swells insideAnd is it the carnival?
Can you hear all the songs they play
Turning the night into the day
You're lost in the atmosphereAnd if you need some part of me
When you're alone there by the sea
I'll sing you this message through the shell
That you press to your cheekOh, love, when you look at the stars at night
Remember, oh, love, it's my longing makes them shine so bright
Because love has both captured and set us free

To each our own countryOh, love, when you look at the stars at night
Remember, oh, love, it's my longing makes them shine so bright
Because love has both captured and set us free
To each our own countryLa la la la la la la la la la la la etc
