Crashing at Corona Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Wind sure kicked up in the last hour or so
Just as re-entry was close we came tumbling down
Like a falling star over New MexicoThey snowed the crashing at corona
Threatened the teletype photographed our bodies
They sold the crashing at corona
As a radar reflector flew us out to AlbuquerqueBrass came to the great plains with their armored cars jeeps and junk
Took great pains with the remains
Till they all were inside the crates and trunks
Then the freight was lifted into the bombers haulThey snowed the crashing at corona
Interrupted the wire concealed debris

They sold the crashing at corona
Said a weather balloon went down out of white sands trinityRains came plugged the storm drains shame while the 509th bomb grew
Rocket wrecks wind the Bolex days of space age what lie next
Verification of the Kodak testThey snowed the crashing at corona
Interrupted the wire concealed debris
They snowed the crashing at corona
Said a weather balloon went down out of white sands trinityFlew us out to Albuquerque
Flew us out to Albuquerque
Flew us out to Albuquerque
White sands trinity

Grant Lee Buffalo is a Los Angeles-based rock band, consisting of Grant-Lee Phillips (vocals and guitar), Paul Kimble (bass) and Joey Peters (drums). All three were previously members of another LA band, Shiva Burlesque. As GLB, they released four albums: Fuzzy (1993), Mighty Joe Moon (1994), Copperopolis (1996) and Jubilee (1998, without Kimble who had left the band the previous year). After the release of Jubilee, the band broke up and Phillips continued to pursue a successful solo career. In 2010 the band reunited and they will be touring again in 2011.
