Crush Lyrics

d'you remember what i said?
is it still ringing in your head?
just tell me when it stops
when you feel the pressure drop
but don't think i'm waiting
cos i'm onto something better!oh girl!
i take all the blame
c'mon girl
i'd do it again
d'you remember what i said?
as you lie awake in bed
you run around the block
with all the tricks you had in stock
i hear my phone is buzzin'
and i know it's you calling
c'mon girl
i can't bury the hatchetoh i know
you're not supposed to feel ok

but you're not helping me in any way
oh i know
this has to be an all time low
but guess what it's your own scenario
i was a fool to let it go
i should have said no a long time ago
i remember what you said
it's still ringing in my head
i thought it'd never stop
i'd be forever the bad cop,
so please don't keep it coming
i just wanna get going
c'mon girl
i can't bury the hatchetoh i know
you're not supposed to feel ok
but you're not helping me in any way
oh i know
this has to be an all time low
but guess what it's your own scenario
i was a fool to let it go
i should have said no a long time agoit's been a long time since you crushed my soul
and i've been working my way out of that holeoh i know
you're not supposed to feel ok
but you're not helping yourself in any way
oh i know
this has to be an all time low
but guess what it's your own scenario
i was a fool to let it go
i should have said no a long time ago

Formed by multi instrumentalists Xavier Boyer, Médéric Gontier, Sylvain Marchand & Pedro Resende, Tahiti 80 ’s adventure began in the French cities of Rouen and Paris in the mid 90s. Singer/ guitarist Boyer and bassist Resende formed the pop combo as students at the University of Rouen, sharing an affinity for indie music, new wave and sixties pop. Taking their name from a souvenir t-shirt given to Boyer's father in 1980, the duo recruited guitarist Mederic Gontier, and with the addition of drummer Sylvain Marchand a year later, the lineup was complete.
