Cry On My Shoulder Lyrics

I know it's hard sometimes
And things seem larger than they are
But if you need to tell someone
That's what I'm here forCry on my shoulder
I'll help you rise above
Cry on my shoulder
My loveAnd in the world outside
It can be harsh and cold
But if you need someone
I will be here to hold youCry on my shoulder
I'll help you dry your eyes
Cry on my shoulder
My love, my loveI know it's hard sometimes
And things seem larger than they are
But if you need to let it go
Then you can call on meCry on my shoulder
I'll help you dry your eyes
Cry on my shoulder

My loveCry on my shoulder
I'll help you rise above
Cry on my shoulder
My love, my loveCry on my shoulder, yeah
Cry on my shoulder, cry
Cry on my shoulder

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
