Crystal Night (Live at Masters of Rock) Lyrics

Why, why do we turn away
When they shout that hymn?
Marching so brave, their hearts beat on boldly right
Their souls belong to those of the weakWalking so blinded
Surrounded by brown coated lies
Hear propaganda that says
Bleed for the master raceWe're not under the same nation
The past has gone, don't fear the new
It's your only chance, your only salvation, yeahWhy should we be blond and blue eyed?
Chanting a heil, living a lie
Evil surrounds us, we lost our way
Darkness will lead us through fire and HellWe're not waving the same flag
Or going down the same road
So use your brains, just for one time
You can't rule mankindWe're not under the same nation
The past has gone, don't fear the new
It's your only chance, your only salvationNo, no, we don't want it, never more
We won't take it like before

Crystal night never moreWe're not under the same nation
The past has gone, don't fear the new
It's your only chance, your only salvationWe're not under the same nation
The past has gone, don't fear the new
It's your only chance, your only salvationNo, no, we don't want it, never more
We won't take it like before
Crystal night never moreNever more like before
No, never more

Masterplan is the name of at least two bands. In order of appearance, they are: (1) In the 1970s, a soul combo called Masterplan recorded "Clinton Park" and other tunes on the De-Lite label. (2) More recently, Masterplan, a German Power Metal band, was founded by Uli Kusch and Roland Grapow after leaving Helloween. Jorn Lande (ex- Ark and Beyond Twilight) was the vocalist until May 2006, due to a dispute between him and Roland and Uli, as he wanted to make the third album more melodic, whereas Roland and Uli wanted to make it more heavy like the self-titled debut.
