Damaged Goods Lyrics

Give me all the hell that you've got to spareDeath hovers over an imense distress
Playing victim after victim
Without missing a step
I am so sick of this
Watching everyone I love just die around me
I'm not alone in this
Am I gonna be a man or will I cry about it
But it won't change thatI felt the pain for both of us
As you stared in silence till reality struck
I made amends it tore me up
Tears rise to distressed eyes
But I won't go blind
Young enough to hurt like hell
And old enough to understand
What a deadly combination
For 2 confused young men
An underlying pain
Somehow you hid it away

Listen up don't worry kid
We'll be okI felt the pain for both of us
As you stared in silence till reality struck
I made amends it tore me up
Tears rise to distressed eyesTears rise to distressed eyes
But I won't go blindGive me all the hell that you've got to spare
I felt the pain for both of us
As you stared in silence till reality struck
I made amends it tore me up
Tears rise to distressed eyesAnd now I've got the world on my shoulders
My heart in my hands
I feel my face getting colder
With the sun to my back
I am too young for this
Why does everyone I love just die around me
But I'll man up for this
Am I gonna be a man or will I cry about it

When a band changes their name and kicks it off with a new singer do you still title them as a "new" band, or did they just take their music to the next level? Either way, both statements are true for the 6 piece post-hardcore band Kingdom Of Giants. Originally known as Hello Sailor, this California Bay based band made all the right decisions when looking to step their game up. Their sound is a mix of truly powerful breakdowns, mixed with a vocalist that could very well take the place of all the "Jonny Craigs" out there, combined with subtle "never-cheese" synth blends that add to the energy of their sound. Their EP Abominable was recently released on Jan 25, 2011. It truly lives up to it's name giving off so much uplifting energy, leaving your blood pumping wanting more. New listeners need to check out their songs "Watch Me" and "Who I Once Was". Watch out for these guys as they dominate the road this year!

Lineup:
