There are two Bands Known as GP

1. GP (a.k.a. Гошо от Почивка) was a Bulgarian underground rapper from Varna, specifically from the neighbourhood called "Pochivka"(in english "Rest"). He has became well-known for his silly song lyrics that parody gangsta rap. Usually he sings about his district "Pochivka" and his girlfriend Zhivka. He and his friends - the Dinosaur, Ico the Hat (last known as Ico the Fly) and the Hind - gather in the early 1996 when they publish the first album "Pochivka" in 2001. After that GP goes to Spain where he works until 2005. At this year the friends from Pochivka create their second album "Project Return"
2008 is the year when the third album "Изтокът успя на юг" (en: "The East succeeded in the South")saw the world.
In the same year came the fourth album of our favorite underground rapper. The name is "Ако сърцето не казва, лицето показва" ("If the heart doesn't tell, the face shows"). It contains 17 songs, but 4 of them are from the previous album.
In April 2012 GP announced though his Facebook page that he's done making music.

2. GP (algo known as Gobierno Podrido "rotten government") Is an influential Punk band from Medellin, Colombia, well known for their harsh critics on society, the government and all ways of power organizations like the family and the press.
