Danny Boy (Version II) Lyrics

Oh, Danny boy
The pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen
And down the mountainsideThe summer's gone
And all the roses falling
It's you, it's you must go
And I must bideOh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
The pipes are calling
From glen to glen and
Even down the mountainsideThe summer's gone
And all the roses falling
It's you, it's you must go
And I must abide
But come ye back when
Summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed
And even white with snowIts' I'll be there in
Sunshine or in shadow

Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
I love you soOh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
The pipes are calling
From glen to glen and
Even down the mountainsideThe summer's gone
And all the roses falling
It's you, it's you must go
And I must abide
But come ye back when
Summer's in the meadow
And when the valley's hushed
And even white with snowIt's I'll be there in
Sunshine or in shadow
Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
I love you soOh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
I love you so
Oh, Danny boy, oh, Danny boy
I love you so
