Date with Ikea Lyrics

The actress is always breaking things
The things you made and she took you for
And I'm so tired, I'd be lyin'
I hope the prairie buys you moreThe fitness coast is growing near
The shores they don't stay blond this year
That's why the marble lawn stays clear and warm in timeI want to stay but my time is wasting
Magic lands call my name
They want to fire a missile launcher
I know I need to stayAnd we all know that by staying here
It will be a good high this year
So what's the use of staying there
If you've got no use for timeThe fitness coast is growing near
The shores they don't stay blond all year
The continent moves with growing fear
It's all for expensive lawnI want to stay but my time is wasting
Magic lands call my name
I want to fire a missile launcher to the sky
I know I need to stayI know I need to stay

(And fight the day)
I know I need to stay
(And fight the day)
I know I need to stay
I know I need to stay
(And fight the day)

Pavement are an American indie rock band that formed in Stockton, California in 1989. For most of the period to 1999, the band consisted of Stephen Malkmus (vocals, guitar), Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg (guitar, vocals), Mark Ibold (bass), Steve West (drums) and Bob Nastanovich (percussion, vocals). During that period, and since, they have frequently been described as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the American underground of the '90s. While their split in 1999 was reportedly rather acrimonious, they undertook a well-received reunion tour during 2010.
