Dead Planet Lyrics

I haven't slept in forty days
Something here just doesn't feel right
This eerie place keeps me up all nights
So tired now, I'm losing my sightYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetI look around and see no end
Signs of extinction appear everywhere
This place called Earth is just a burning shell
An inner outer living hellYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetWe have come so far just to lose it all
This winding road we call life
So civilized within our frame of mind
Never having learned to be kindYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetYellow sky

Turning blue
Dead planetYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetYellow sky
Turning blue
Dead planetWhat is up with this hole I'm in?
No one here can hear me scream
What is up with this place?
Someone get me out of this scene

Front Line Assembly are Bill Leeb (vocals, synthesizers) and Rhys Fulber (synthesizers and samplers), one of many groups formed by the prolific Vancouver, Canada-based duo. After working in the mid-'80s under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder with Skinny Puppy, the Austrian-born Leeb formed the industrial/ebm-based Front Line Assembly in 1986 with Fulber -- who initially joined on as a studio assistant -- and synth player Michael Balch.
