Dead To Me Lyrics

So much for the pretty life
I guess we're landed on the darker side
I thought I do meant until we die
But I guess I was mistakenYou had me thinking you were heaven sent
But you were gone once the money was spent
You're a nightmare that just won't end
And I'm not even sleeping
But I won't hurt anymoreThere's no more tears for me to cry
No more lovin' you tonight
I won't regret you
I'll just forget you
You're dead to meThere's no more pieces of my heart
I've been broken down so far
You took it all, selfishly
You're dead to meSo much for a second chance
I gave you one too many of them
You can sweet talk a heartless man
You stole it, then you broke itNow you're begging down on your knees

Ain't that where you like to be
You can stay there until they bleed
'Cause I'm not giving inThere's no more tears for me to cry
No more love in you tonight
I won't regret you
I'll just forget you
You're dead to meThere's no more pieces of my heart
I've been broken down so far
You took it all, selfishly
You're dead to meI gave you a chance to speak your mind
But I know it'd be a lie
Your not even worth the time
It takes to say goodbyeThere's no more tears for me to cry
No more lovin' you tonight
I won't regret you
I'll just forget you
You're dead to meThere's no more pieces of my heart
I've been broken down so far
You took it all away from me
You took it all, selfishly
You're dead to me
(You took it all away)
Oh, dead to me
(You took it all away)
Oh, you're dead to me
Oh, you're dead to me

There are at least two artists using the name Hinder: 1) Hinder is a post-grunge band that was formed in Oklahoma City more than four years ago, when guitarist Joe Garvey and drummer Cody Hanson discovered Austin Winkler singing for a cover band at a college dorm party. "I heard him and was blown away," says Cody. "He has the kind of charisma very few people have and that unique voice. You can't really compare him to anybody."
