Dear Me (Remix) [feat. Kevin Olusola] Lyrics

Dear me you'll be older one day
I'm writing from the future and you're doing ok
I say now
Dear me
Hold on on what you've got
Things are gonna change but changes better than you thoughtDear me
I know you're scare as hell of everything right now
But don't get lost of where you're going
Dear me
You gonna fall in love with the girl that you live next door to
And you have no way you've know it
You don't know who you are
You don't know who you are
You don't know who you are
But I know you're trying
You don't know who you are
You don't know who you are
You don't know who you are

But you're multiplyingDear me you'll be older one day
I'm writing from the future and you're doing ok
I say now
Dear me
Hold on on what you've got
Things are gonna change but changes better than you thought
Say you gonna get yourself
Get yourself togheter
Dear me
Don't keep people in your life who treats you like crap
And don't you sleep over in there either
Dear me
Never give up on the good in the rest of youYou gonna make mistakes
You gonna make mistakes
You gonna make mistakes
But they will fall behind you
You gonna make mistakes
You gonna make mistakes
You gonna make mistakes
But they won't defy youDear me you'll be older one day
I'm writing from the future and you're doing ok
I say now
Dear me
Hold on on what you've got
Things are gonna change but changes better than you thoughtSaid you gonna get yourself
Get yourself
Get yourself together

Hutchinson recorded and released the album Sounds Like This on his own. The album won praise from gossip blogger Perez Hilton, which sent it to the top ten on the iTunes Store, where it peaked at number five in September 2007 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The album was picked up by Warner Bros. Records, who released it in May 2008.
