Death Anxiety Lyrics

My body will be set aflame tonight
Even though my heart will remain
It's cold as ice inside
I feel my fists are buried in the pavement
Helpless to the rotting cancer, sent to ruin my lifeI awake to this anxiety,
that every breath, every step might be my lastI feel i'm growing numb
A slight chill to my flesh
like one million knifes
stabbing a hole right through my chestThere is no comfort
My surroundings bleak as night
The angels of death awaiting for me to lock me in their sightsLifeless I fear the wrath of God
I hear the dead speak through the wall
Remember me, eternal sleep awaits me underground
I will not wait, for you to follow to the other sideCome on!
I feel closer now
To walk with the dead
Every night i fear is the last with you
So please remember what it meanI feel I'm growing numb

A slight chill to my flesh
like one million knives stabbing a hole right through my chest
There is no comfort
My surroundings bleak as night
The angels of death awaiting for me
to lock me in their sightI awake to this anxiety, that every breath every step might be my last
Every step might be my lastLifeless i fear the wrath of God
I hear the dead speak through the wall
Remember me
Eternal sleep awaits me underground
I will not wait for you to follow to the other side

Bleeding Through was a metalcore band out of Orange County, California, United States and was formed in 1999 and will be splitting up sometime in 2013 due to the band members' inability to be fully devoted to Bleeding Through. Bleeding Through's successes in the past have been mainly built upon their Trustkill Records debut, "This Is Love, This Is Murderous." The album produced two music videos ( "On Wings Of Lead" and "Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire" ) with Spin Magazine calling them an "Artist To Watch"...
