Deceiving Is Believing Lyrics

I always have an alibi
And you allow me there
But tonight I have no conscience
So what comes after that? You're coming down already
This high won't see us through
Nothing I can change now
I've learnt to lie to youWhat happened to me?
What happened to you?
You were pulling me on
I was leading you through, lie to meI always had a vision
That love would see us through
But what's the point in wishing
When my dreams depend on you?Gonna need support now
Your friends can gather 'round
And you can tell them stories
On how I let you downWhat happened to me?
What happened to you?
You were pulling me on

I was leading you through, lie to meDeceiving is believing
Deceiving is believing
Deceiving is believing
Deceiving is believingI'm much too young to be cynical
It's you that makes me miserable
Can you tell a lie through a smile? In bed we always deviate
And I'm the one who comes too late
These things hide inside
Of my mind, my mindI always have an alibi
And you allow me there
Tonight I have no conscience
So what comes after that? What happened to me?
What happened to you?
You were pulling me on
I was leading you through
Lie to me, lie to me, lie to meDeceiving is believing
Believing, believing
Believing, believe

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
