Declaration of Freedom Lyrics

No need to be afraid
When the light start to fade
When minds disintegrate
No need to be afraidNo need, no need to fear
When you begin to hear the bells
Tolling death knells in your ears
Calling you closer to meI'll set you freeWhen the temple comes to collect
To harvest your life's account
And your goodness is no defense
Against your family's neglectTake my hands and follow me
I'll set you freeBetween heavenly salvation
And the Serpent's curse
Between eternal abomination
And the boredom of the virtuousYou deeds count for nothing
On the day of reckoning
Your faith stands for nothing
God was only an enterpriseTake my hands and follow me
I'll set you freeSome people say

Death is not the end
Well let me tell you this
Death is your only friendDeath is the final release
From the cycle of misery
From the threat of eternity
And perpetual vanityTake my hands and follow me
I'll set you freeDeath is the final release
From the cycle of misery
From the threat of eternity
From eternal slavernTake my hands and follow me
I'll set you free

New album SPECTRE out 3 March 2014! http://spectre.laibach.org/pre-order-spectre Laibach is an industrial project that started in Trbovlje, Slovenia, in 1980. Their name is taken from the German name for Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, and this reference to World War II occupation was the first of many provocative and ambiguous statements in their long and chameleonic career. Laibach were founding members of the art movement NSK (Neue Slowenische Kunst — “New Slovenian Art”) and are one of the few musical groups able to claim real influence on the history of their home country.
