Deep Blues Lyrics

deep blues
have fallen around me
deep blues
have shackled and bound me
bad news
forever will hound me
as long as I'm blue
oh what'll I do?
She's gone and I'm sold down the river
she hates, hates the love that i give her
I know - she'll haunt me forever
deep in the blues
deep blue
deep blue
ain't nothin' but sorrow
can't lose

this trouble I borrow
just blues
today and tomorrow
oh where did she go?
it worries me so
this heart inside of me cries out
it knows, knows I'm crying my eyes out
love's flame
just flickers and dies out
deep in the blues
deep blues
