Deeper In Darkness Lyrics

The sun shines through my window today
Occurred to me the sun could go awayI can't believe it, my world is turning faster
I can't conceive it, the calm before disaster
Raining down on meAnd I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
Never to return, I know it's true
And I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
But before I go I'll slip my disease into youI feel the pain of having you makes me sad
Yesterdays tomorrow really makes me madI can't believe it, my world is turning faster
I can't conceive it, there is no loving laughter
Raining down on meAnd I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
Never to return, I know it's true
And I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
But before I go I'll slip my disease into youFeeling down, going out of control
I can feel the life draining from my very soul
You got your hands around my neck
You're pulling me down
And you're pulling me downIs this for real or is it a dream
Hello moviegoers, is there no shame?I can't believe it, my world is turning faster

I can't conceive it, there is no loving laughter
Raining down on meAnd I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
Never to return, I know it's true
I know it's true, I know it's true
And I'm slipping deeper, deeper in darkness
But before I go I'll slip my disease into youInto you
Into you
Into you
Into you

Jackyl is an American rock and roll band formed in 1990. Jackyl's sound has been described as a combination of hard rock, heavy metal and Southern rock. Their music has also sometimes been categorized as glam metal. The band is probably best-known for its song "The Lumberjack", which features a chainsaw solo by lead singer Jesse James Dupree. Dupree would rev the chainsaw's engine or use the chain brake to slow the engine down to keep the beat. He would also perform this stunt live and the number would climax with Dupree slicing up a wooden stool onstage.
