Dig a Hole Lyrics

Don't build up, I'm built strong
Don't turn around, I'm not that tough
Shimmy shimmy on the floor
Someone grows on my fears so what?Don't build up, I'm built strong
Don't turn around, I'm not that tough
Shimmy, shimmy on the floor
Someone grows on [Incomprehensible] so what?Pooka, pooka, don't stop
Blackheads, white tongue
Don't give into my submissionI wash my feet, they're talking all day
I wash my lies, they're squanking all day
Some people fall in love
Some people just get on my nervesSome days I dig a hole
Some days I j-j-jump in it
Water, water won't stop
Fire, fire won't stopDon't build up, I'm built strong
Don't turn around, I'm not that tough
Shimmy, shimmy on the floor, someoneWho said that I was to blame?
And who said that I had no shame?

Who said that we were hip now?
And who said that we were it now?And who said that I had no shame?
And who said that I'm to blame?
And who said that we were hip now?
Who said that we were it now?

Enigmatic, moody, and challenging, Britain's Wolfgang Press were one of the most mercurial talents of the post-punk era, restlessly moving from gothic noise to dark balladry to eccentric funk; paradoxically, the group was also the 4AD label's longest tenured artist -- even their stylish album packages were all the product of the same designer, Alberto Ricci. Formed in London in 1983, the Wolfgang Press comprised vocalist Michael Allen, guitarist Andrew Gray, and keyboardist Mark Cox.
