Dignity and Pride Lyrics

gray paint peels from a broken wall the engines have stopped turning no shouts heard from the foreman's call you're outta work and you're learning walk before you run or you're gonna fall but before I lend a hand I wanna see you try to stand prove you're worth it dignity and pride cherished by the ones who've earned it though many fought and died at least they tried what's made of a man who helps himself his fortune is made not given lazy men have no right to share his wealth leeches suck for a living only those who stand reach the highest shelf

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Teen Idols were a pop punk band based in Nashville, Tennessee. The band was formed in 1992 and quickly gained local popularity while playing at venues such as Lucy's Record Shop and receiving frequent airplay on Nashville college radio. During the mid-90s, they released several EPs under the local indie label, House O' Pain. In 1996, the Nashville Music Association nominated the band for their Independent Artist of the Year award. A year later, the Teen Idols released their first full-length album under the indie label Honest Don's Records.
