Dinosaur (Single Edit) Lyrics

Long ago and far away in a different age
When I was a dumb young guy
Fossilized photos of my life then
Illustrate what an easy prey I must have beenStanding in the sun, idiot savant
Something like a monumentI'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bones
I'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bonesIgnorance has alway been something I excel in
Followed by naivety and pride
Doesn't take a scientist to see how
Any clever predator could have a piece of meStanding in the sun, idiot savant
Something like a monumentI'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bones
I'm a dinosaurOoh, when I look back on the past
It's a wonder I'm not yet extinct
All the mistakes and bad judgments I made
Nearly pushed me to the brinkIt doesn't pay to be too nice
It's the one thing I have learned

Still, I made my fossil bed
And now I toss and turnI'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bones
I'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bonesI'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bones
I'm a dinosaur
Somebody is digging my bones

King Crimson is a progressive rock group from England formed in 1969 by guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Michael Giles. Though originally an all-British musical group, later members have included a number of Americans, most notably Adrian Belew, and Tony Levin. The name "King Crimson" was coined by Peter Sinfield as a synonym for Beelzebub, prince of demons. King Crimson's debut album was In the Court of the Crimson King.
