Disco Down Lyrics

Well, you could be friends of mine
I see your pondering
But the pleasure will be mine
I do feel hungry even though I've had my shareI'll keep shouting out loud to convert the herd
Got to spread the word to the non believers, yeah
And the drummer must try holding times together
'Cause the rest of us can keep it tied foreverFeels like I've been to every single disco all around
Another night, another town
It's time to burn this disco down
A higher place on higher groundI've heard the sounds, and do you like it now?
Another night, another town
It's time to burn this disco downWell, you could be magnetized
I know you're wondering but for you I will oblige
If you try harder to persist in what you feel
Then you could push me down, am I making me heard?
Got to spread the word to the disagreers, yeahAnd the plastic must keep spinning 'round forever
Round, round
And the memories will flood and keep us togetherFeels like I've been to every single disco all around

Another night, another town
It's time to burn this disco down
A higher place on higher groundI've heard the sounds and do you like it now
Another night another town
Its time to burn this disco downFeels like I've been to every single disco all around
Another night, another town
Its time to burn this disco downFeels like I've been to every single disco all around
Another night, another town
Its time to burn this disco down
A higher place on higher groundI've heard the sounds and do you like it now
Another night, another town
Its time to burn this disco down

Shed Seven are a band from York, England who formed in 1990 and are famed for their no nonsense good-time tunes and live shows. Their popularity peaked in the mid-1990's during the britpop boom with their most popular songs, including Chasing Rainbows, Going For Gold, Getting Better and Disco Down, all reaching the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. The band split in December 2003, but not before a farewell tour which culminated in a final hometown show. The split was amicable and came about due to disagreements with their record company about their musical direction.
