Disconnected Lyrics

Where's my girl where has she gone
she once was beautiful and innocent
I can't believe in what she says I
look at her and she looked the other wayDisconnected from feeling alright
Disconnected and it ain't black and
white Disconnected there's a sword
through the dove Disconnected from
the country I loveI remember you when you we young and strong
in your summer dress and your legs so
long my memories are only for me I
prefer them to realityDisconnected from feeling alright
Disconnected and it ain't black and
white Disconnected there's a sword
through the dove Disconnected from
the country I loveYou think it was over but you better
think again neither grace nor sweetness
just malicious intent it's you and me
baby so we better watch our back cause

if we are standing together we ain't never
gonna crack and we took the greyhound
into the night with the city on the left
and the country on the right i knew when
i saw you i read it in your eyes i heard
your voiced break when you were trying
not to dieDisconnected from feeling alright
Disconnected and it ain't black and
white Disconnected there's a sword
through the dove Disconnected from
the country I love

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
