Disrespectful (Guy Robin & DJ Leo Main Vocal Mix) Lyrics

Disrespectful
You don't wanna treat me
You don't wanna play around
'Cause you could be historyDon't mess around with me
I'm too good to you, yeah
What the **** you take me for?
I'm nobody?s foolBoy, what is wrong with you?
I don't have time for this
You can't make me lose my mind
I'm too strong for yaDisrespectful
Yeah, it's no mystery
Best thing to happen to you
No one compares to meBaby, I remember
When you use to love meI remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love

Love meDisrespectful
I don't think you?re hearin' me
Better pay attention
I'm everything you needWho's the one cookin' the food
Goin' through the same thing
You goin' through? That's me
You better get your act together
Before I have to flip out on you, babyBoy, what is wrong with you?
I don't have time for this
You can't make me lose my mind
I'm too strong for yaDisrespectful
It's no mystery
Best thing to happen to you
No one compares to meI remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love
Love meRunnin' out of time
Runnin', runnin'
Runnin' out of time
For your disrespectfulnessRunnin' out of time
Runnin', runnin'
Runnin' out of time
I'm just too good for thisThere are times that I do miss you
But I must keep movin' on
I never thought that I would wake up
And you'd be gone
You never thought about meDon?t you take me for no fool, boy
I know [Incomprehensible] yeah
This whole city know that I?m crazy
To think that I wouldn?t see you
Through all your messI remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love
Love meI remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we hadI remember when you used to love me
Why you so brand new?
What happen to you?I remember when you used to love me
Through the good and bad
What a good thing we had
I remember when you used to love

Chaka Khan (born Yvette Marie Stevens; 23 March 1953 - Chicago, Illinois, USA), frequently known as the "Queen of Funk", is a 10-time Grammy Award winning American singer-songwriter who gained fame in the 1970s as the frontwoman and focal point of the funk band Rufus.

In 1964 at the age of 11 she formed her first group, the Crystalettes. While still in high school, she joined the Afro-Arts Theater, a group which toured with Motown great Mary Wells; a few years later, she adopted the African name Chaka Khan while working on the Black Panthers' breakfast program. After quitting high school in 1969, Khan joined the group Lyfe, soon exiting to join another dance band, the Babysitters; neither was on the fast track to success, but her fortunes changed when she teamed with ex-American Breed member Kevin Murphy and Andre Fisher to form Rufus.

Debuting in 1973 with a self-titled effort on the ABC label, Rufus was among the preeminent funk groups of the decade; distinguished by Khan's dynamic vocals, the group earned half a dozen gold or platinum albums.

While still a member of the group in 1978, Khan embarked on a successful solo career. Her signature hits, both with Rufus and solo, include "Tell Me Something Good", "Sweet Thing", "Ain't Nobody", "I'm Every Woman", "I Feel for You" and "Through the Fire".
