Distant Lover Lyrics

Lil' Boosie, Bad A**, BJ on the track, B
You gon' name your distant lover, so many miles away
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
I'm turnin' into Mr. Telephone Man, girl, you know I miss ya
So many miles away and I can't kiss ya
Look but I remember everythin', the concert, the room
The *** you whispered in my ear when I had you
Now my Jacksonville chick, she a endo shopper
She like to smoke purple and chill wit her partners
When I come in town, she cook for me
Know she lookin' good for me
Momma white, Daddy black, so that *** supa phat
My uptown chick, we still be flirtin'
When I see her, she remind me of how I broke a virgin
Think I still drive her crazy 'cuz she still wanna date me

Got a man and a baby, do ya thang, I ain't hatin'
Now my Michigan chick, she was too damn fine
Her *** stay wet all the time
One of the best to ever ride me, let me get a car and drive it
Every time she see Lil Boosie, she smilin'
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But look, she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
At night, I'm on that dro, just thinkin' 'bout my distant lover
Wishin' I could call her up and go *** her
But she stay so many miles away and it's hard
And if I ain't got no shows, I can't even see my broad
She know a *** livin' large, so when we ***
Lil' mama gimme everythin', she ain't scared of nothin'
She get on top and drop it like it's hot, I'm steady nuttin'
My distant lover, a lil' sexy, lil' sumthin', huh bro, huh bro?
Now my Tampa chick, she 'bout what she be talkin' 'bout
Nasty girl, take it out her ***, put it in her mouth
Knew she was a freak when she got in the backseat
She say she wanted me and peep, we never shakin' in the sheets
Now my Georgia peach, we gon' thug 'til the end
She don't give a *** about no lady or none of my friends
When she seen that, man, she hugged me
Tell me hi, that she wan' *** me
I had to show her how to suck it, nicknamed her 'Cold blood'
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But look, she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
Girl, I got feelings for you, man, I'm on some *** like middle school
I'm tryna write you letters since I can't come home and tickle you
I'll *** her wit her lil' dude, I need that *** from you every night
'Cuz I know it gon' be wet and right
A candlelight dinner 'cuz wit me, you a winner
If you wit me, you ridin' Davins, other spinners, pretenders
I got redbones in different states, every one got a pretty face
Every one let me grip they waist, every one know I don't play
My thugged out chick, I can't *** her too often
She bring problems in my life, she do too much talkin'
But I gotta give it to her, with that mouth, she the sickest
You put work up in her hand, she gon' move it wit the quickest
Now my California chick, she the type you don't need
She always trippin' on me when I smoke my ***
I told her, "Girl, if you don't like it, then you can get to hikin'
I was trippin' when you told me you was dykin'”
She my distant lover, *** wish I could *** her everyday
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, *** wish I could *** her everyday
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, *** wish I could *** her everyday
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, *** wish I could *** her everyday
Distant lover
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But look, she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away
Wish I could *** her everyday, touch her in every way
But she stay so many miles away
She my distant lover, so many miles away
Distant lover, so many miles away

Marvin Pentz Gay, Jr. (2 April 1939 - 1 April 1984) was an American soul and rnb singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, known as "The Prince of Soul", or "The Prince of Motown." Originally a member of the doo-wop group The Moonglows, he pursued a solo career after the group disbanded and released many successful solo hits including "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", "Let's Get It On" and "What's Going On". His best albums are still held in extremely high regard, and he is often cited as one of the finest singers of his era.

Marvin Pentz Gay, Jr. was born in 1939 to Marvin Gay, Sr. and Alberta Gay in Washington, D.C.. Gaye began his career in Motown in 1958, and soon became Motown's top solo male artist. He scored numerous hits during the 1960s, among them "Ain't That Peculiar", "Stubborn Kind of Fellow", and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)", as well as several hit duets with Tammi Terrell, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"" and "You're All I Need To Get By", before moving on to his own form of musical self-expression.

Along with Stevie Wonder, Gaye is notable for fighting the hit-making—but creatively restrictive—Motown record-making process, in which performers, songwriters and record producers were generally kept in separate camps. Gaye forced Motown to release his 1971 album What's Going On, which is today hailed as one of the best albums of all time. Subsequent releases proved that Gaye, who had been a part-time songwriter for Motown artists during his early years with the label, could write and produce his own singles without having to rely on the Motown system. This achievement would pave the way for the successes of later self-sufficient singer-songwriter-producers in African American music, such as Luther Vandross and Babyface.

During the 1970s, Gaye would release several other notable albums, including Let's Get It On and I Want You, and released several successful singles such as "Come Get to This", "Got To Give It Up" and "Sexual Healing". By the time of his shooting death in 1984, at the hands of his clergyman father, Gaye had become one of the most influential artists of the soul music era.
