Dna (feat. Porcelain Black) Lyrics

It's in my DNA-ehay-ehay-ehay (that's okay)
So let the music play-ehay-ehay (let it, let it)
It's in my DNA-ehay-ehay-ehay (rock wid it)
I was born to shut it downRye RyeEh, It's natural
I don't need no Adderall
And just let the beat bump
And Imma make yo bodies jump
All my chickas reports to the dance floor
Or, better yet, sweat our your dance pores
Pull out cho weaves
Done for
These niggas run the world, I rep fo umWe get stupid, we get dumb
Party all night
Till we numb
I got shades on, forget a hater
And don't be throwing no ass in tha... ?
That's right, that's right
We can keep this... till they turn on the lights

Let's go, Let's go
Cause a party ain't a party till you put on a show
Natural killah-killah
Now my body move realer-realer
Up in the club, screamin' we don't give a fuck
?It's in my DNA-ehay-ehay-ehay
So let the music play-ehay-ehay
It's in my DNA-ehay-ehay-ehay
I was born to shut it down
It's in my DNA-ehay-ehay-ehay

Rye Rye (b. Ryeisha Berrain aka ryerye), is a rapper from Baltimore, MD, USA. She met Blaqstarr, a friend of her sister's, and worked with him on her early material. She met M.I.A. in a studio after M.I.A. overheard one of Rye Rye's songs. She then worked with Diplo to make Wassup Wassup and other songs including: "Gangsta Girl", "Hardcore Girls" (with The Count & Sinden), and "Reasons". She is also working with Zakee. "Hardcore Girls" appears on the Hardcore Girls EP by The Count and Sinden via Domino Records. The Boom Boom Songfacts reports that In 2008 Rye Rye became the first artist signed to M.I.A.'s record label N.E.E.T., imprint of Interscope Records. Her debut album, Go! Pop! Bang!, was originally scheduled for release in 2009, but when Rye Rye became pregnant it set in motion a series of delays which prevented the album’s release for nearly three years. It's currently due to be dropped on May 15, 2012. She has described her sound as "unique, hard-hitting, anything thrown I can handle it."

Rye Rye began performing at the age of 16. She toured with M.I.A. during the fall and winter of 2007 and early 2008 and briefly with Afrikan Boy. She is featured on a remix of M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" with Afrikan Boy, which appears on the Paper Planes - Homeland Security Remixes EP by M.I.A. and is available on her MySpace. Her song "Shake It To The Ground" was made available for download on iTunes.[1] She has also made a music video for the song.

Rye Rye is the first artist signed to M.I.A.'s new music label N.E.E.T., and her album is set to be released in 2009. They both appear on M.I.A.'s remix of Busy Signal's "Tic Toc," an unfinished version of which M.I.A. showcased on Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 show.
