Doing It Right Lyrics

Do it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all rightYou got a mouth
Don't you act like you ain't heard a thing
Who told you to play the victim
You ain't sufferingI see that lazy ass attitude
Hey, let it drop
You got potential come on
Take it to the tippity-topCome on and show that energy
That you always give out
Use it for something good
Yeah, you know what I'm talking aboutKeep jumping, reaching higher
You can't take a fall
Give it all, give it all
Give it all, give it allDo it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all rightGot ideas to supply
And a passport to try

Everything we should but don't
Everything we could but won'tGot out backs to the pack
And no plans to take back
Anything we've ever owned
Anything we've ever knownAnd what happens next
Will be yours now
'Cause we've gotta figure out
If we're gonna show you howDo it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all rightWe have the right combination
We got everything
And to strike faster than lightning
We raise what we bringWe have the right combination
It ain't time to crawl
Give it all, give it all
Give it all, give it allDo it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all rightGot ideas to supply
And a passport to try
Everything we should but don't
Everything we could but won'tGot out backs to the pack
And no plans to take back
Anything we've ever owned
Anything we've ever knownAnd what happens next
Will be yours now
'Cause we've gotta figure out
If we're gonna show you howDo it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all right
Do it, do it, all right

The Go! Team are a Brighton, United Kingdom-based six piece band (with two drummers) whose songs are a mixture of action theme songs, cheerleader chants, noise pop guitars and early hip-hop, with a hint of '70s funk. On record their songs are often pieced together largely from samples, although live the songs are performed mostly with live instruments. Founder Ian Parton, born in Wales, was previously involved in a band called dig the slowness.
