Doing Time Lyrics

Now I already know to choose my own handcuffs,
And it's true that you fit me better than those old one's ever did,
But my wrists miss the ache all the same,Don't get me wrong,
It's a pleasure to do my time,
And there's no danger of getting of for good behaviour,
I just miss the chase. If you want to live behind bars,
You best make sure you feel at home,
Right now I'm cosier than I've ever been,
But I can't pretend I don't miss the chase,Don't get me wrong,
It's a pleasure to do my time,
And there's no danger of getting of for good behavior,
I just miss the chase.

Later in the year, Jones linked with Slumberland, who issued “7th Date,” a colored 7” single, that June.
