Don't Call Me Brother Lyrics

(Chorus)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:}
Unless you really, really
mean it
(Chorus)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Unless you get yourself together(Walter:)
How can you call me brother
when you don't even respect my woman
when I cant even trust you behind my back
(Eddie:)
How can you call me brother -- How can you do it?
whe you keep tryin' to rip me off?
How in the world can you call me brother
when we can't even have
a man-to-man talk?And I'm tellin' you --(Chorus:)

Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Hey! Don't dont it
unless you really, really, really mean it (Walter:You don't really mean it)
Don't do it
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie Levert sings:)
Until you get yourself,
get yourself together, brother(Walter Williams sings :)
How can you call me brother --
when you aint even searchin' for the truth?
How can you call me brother
I can't never depend on you? Ohhh
(Eddie:)
How can you call me brother
when you still -- you still
cheat and you lie? You cheat and you lie. Yeah -- Ohhh!
How can you call me brother
When you can't even look me in my eye?And I'm tellin' you --(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Hey!
unless you really, really, really mean it (Walter:You don't really mean it, No, No)
Don't do it
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Until you get yourself,
get yourself together, together (Walter: Brother!)(Eddie:)
So I'm tellin' you:(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Don't You -- Don't You --
unless you really, really, really, really mean it!
Don't come around here -- with all this money and shaking
Don't do it -- Don't do it -- Don't do it!
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Walter:)
You don't really mean it -- You're just trying to rip me off --
I don't Go away! Go Away! Don't do it!
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Hanging around people's houses
Corruptin' the neighborhood -- You are! You are!
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Naw, Naw, Naw! --
Naw, Naw, Naw, Naw, Naw!
(Chorus:)
Don't you call me brother
(Eddie:)
Unless you really, really, really, really mean it!(Walter:)
You don't even have any self respect! Naw, Naw!
How can you respect somebody else!?
IIIII -- know all about you
I've watched you running around
the neighborhood --
(Background:Don't you call me call me brother)
tryin' to rip me off(Eddie:)
I said, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
Just the other day
when I was hanging out down on the main drag, Yeah!
I went in to get me a small teeny, weeny totti that evening, Yeah!
And when I come out, Yeah! I came out, Yeah! I came out, Yeah!
And I got a bad place of the blues when I saw my tires gone!
I opened up the door -- Yeah! --
And there was the glove compartment
all torn out on my dashboard!
And, here you come, here you come
here you come, skinnin' and grinnin'. Yeah!(Walter:)
Skinnin' and grinnin', Yeah!
(Walter:)
I know you did it!
(Eddie:)
Here you come with a power sign --
and talking about -- talkin' about --
"My man! Solid on down! My brother!"
I said I don't like --
How can you really, really -- really, really, mean it!?
I know about you -- I know what you're good for!
I know what you're doing around here!
I know all about you -- I know all about you
I know -- I know, I know you're a --
Backbiter! -- Backstabber!
Low down -- cheatin' -- rotten -- No good -- No good -- (Whoo!!!)
son of a seacup!
(Walter:)
Yeah, Yeah! You don't really mean it!
(Eddie:)
I know you're dirty!
(Walter:)
Don't call me --
(Eddie:)
I know you're dirty!
(Walter:)
Don't call me!
(Eddie:)
I know you're dirty! Brother!
(Walter:)
How can you call me brother?
(Eddie:)
When you don't really mean it -- I can't use it!
(Walter:)
Can't even trust you behind my back, Naw, Naw!
(Eddie:)
I can't use it -- That kind of carrying on, I don't like it!
(Walter:)
Giving me the old glad-hand shake! Don't do it!
(Eddie:)
I can't use it!
(Walter:)
Tellin' me -- right on, right on -- right on, right on!
(Eddie:)
It ain't no good!
(Walter:)
Whooo!!!
(Eddie:)
Heyyy, Heeyyy!!! I hate you --
Don't you -- Don't you -- Don't you call me ---
brother -- brother -- brother!
(Walter:)
Whooo!!!
Don't you call me!
