Don't Cry Lyrics

The world is big
And often wrong
But Truth is bigger
And twice as strong
Sometimes ain't pretty
Sometimes ain't nice
But hold your ground
Dry your eyes
Here take my word
Take my life
Don't cry
They'll say they love you
When juice is flowing
When money is gone
They must be going
Sometimes they bring
Coming from a friend
But you be ready

If it happens again
Here take my word
Take my life
Don't cry
Don't cry when they wanna sell you
Don't cry when they wanna fight
Don't cry when they don't believe you
And you know you're right
Don't cry when they wanna paint you
Into a corner of their design
It's your innocent blood they want
It's your innocent mind
Don't cry when they wanna sell you
Don't cry when they wanna fight
Don't cry when they don't believe you
When you know you're right
Don't cry when they wanna paint you
Into a corner of their design
It's your innocent blood they want
It's your innocent
Innocent mind
Well the world is big
And often wrong
But your heart is bigger
And twice as strong
Sometimes a mystery
Sometimes it's blind
But it won't deceive you
It doesn't lie
Here take my word
Take my life
Don't cry
Here take my word
Here take my life
Don't cry
Here take my word
Take my life
Don't cry
